Anyone one there you all recomend for plinking rabits and squirels out of my garden??? They were brutal last summer...

I want to be able to pop them from my back deck, but at about 100-130 feet, I'm afraid the distance will be to great...

Its a residential neighborhood, so an actual rimfire is out...

This looks like a really really really fun way to have a cop try to shoot at the person holding it. It is just something fun on that website. it probably has nothing to do with varmint control

I have found that the Aquilia Super Colibri .22 rimfire ammo is much quieter than any air rifle. Kills pigeons better as well.

I have GAMO 220 hunter, love that little rifle. Killed plenty of rabbits with it.
Its 'a very accurate gun too. Shot a rabbit last season about 120f out, right behind the ear, he dropped dead on the spot. Pellet went right through him.

Can't remember the website I got it off.

If not disturbing the neighbors is important, have you considered a slingshot?

We used to patrol the neighborhood on our bmx's with a Benjamin .22 air rifle in tow. :s9:

They are really nice little rifles, and Benjamin also makes a good .22 air pistol too if you have any interest in that.

just recieved some advertising from cabellas they have GAMO hunter reconditioned
models from just over 100 dollars retail is about 185 I have one of these and it has been a very good air rifle my only complaint is that it takes a very firm hold
to get any accuracy but i think that is true of most break air rifles.

I have a Daisy Powerline 1000. Turkish built. Crude two stage trigger but after removing the first stage spring it has a little less trigger pull.

Built like a Sherman tank almost as heavy, barrel cocks like a Bowflex set at 150 lbs, kicks worse than my Ruger 10/22 but half as loud.

Out to 30 yrds or so it will kill a squirrel or rabbit in short order.

Its the crude, rude, heavy hitter of air rifles.

To be honest, I'd rather use my Ruger with 22 shorts.

I bought a chinese-made "Swift Deer". Crude and ugly, but it works. It has the "Norinco" badge on the instruction manual, which is written in chinglish, seemingly under the influence of hallucinogens. :D

I have a Gamo Silver Shadow Supreme, with a Wichester air rifle scope. My best shot story involved a little luck I think. These woodpeckers around here are always pecking holes in the trim boards on my chimney. One day upon hearing the usual pecking noise on the house, I went out on my rear 2nd floor deck with my Gamo. He flew into a tree about 60 feet away, I shot, and missed. He then flew into another Ponderosa Pine about 200 feet away, about 75 feet up in the tree. I knew it was a long shot but aimed at him anyway, and just raised the sight up about 6 inches. Lo and behold, I dropped the sucker! I couldn't believe it. I notice it is really tough keeping the scope sighted in perfectly. I was told that air rifles are really hard on scopes.

I like the "Beeman P1 magnum" in a pistol...german engineering, around $400.00.
